10th Annual Share the Magic Fundraiser

Thank you to everyone who joined us on November 4th to honor our 2009 Magic Maker - Miguel Espana of Espana Collision Repair. In 2008, Miguel dedicated his time, talent and resources to provide two families, including a deserving Third Street family, with a car for the holidays!

Frieda C. Fox Family Foundation $5,000 Challenge Grant

The Frieda C. Fox Family Foundation will MATCH YOUR GIFT this winter, dollar for dollar...if we can raise at least $5,000 by the end of December, 2009. By giving at any level that fits your financial ability, or at the $250, $500 or $1,000 level today, your gift will be doubled by the foundation --- so your gift goes twice as far.

Please help us meet this extraordinary challenge. If we do not raise $5000, we do not qualify for the $5000 challenge funds. There are two easy ways you can help us meet this challenge.

Wellness Program for Older Adults

Health and fitness activities for older adults are now available through our new health initiative, Leading Strong & Healthy Lives. Classes offered in the mornings and include: yoga (free exercise mat provided while supplies last), nutrition workshops in Spanish, cooking classes, and walking and hiking groups. Classes are free but donations are gladly accepted. Please contact Vanessa for details at (408) 295-8722.

After School Academic Program & Tech Friday

The After School Academic Program has started and most classes are full. However, we have limited space and are accepting students, including middle school youth, for our Tech Friday program. Interested parents, please contact Nalleli at (408) 295-8722 for details. Due to the high demand for our youth programs, parents are highly encouraged to submit an enrollment form in order to have a child placed on our waiting list. Space typically opens up in October and January.
