Share the Magic
The Third Street Community Center is celebrating its 9th Annual Share the Magic fundraiser on Friday, October 10th at 6pm. The event will take place at the prestigious Tech Museum of Innovation, a long time partner of Third Street.
On this delightful evening, our whole community comes together to recognize our collective impact in inspiring, transforming, and bringing hope…especially to children who strive to be our future scientists, engineers, doctors and leaders.
Our sponsors play a key role in the success of our programs and in our ability to serve children. We have various sponsorships opportunities with unique benefits depending on your level of contribution. After School Academic Program
Knowledgeable staff and friendly volunteers provide a safe and supportive environment for children to learn during out-of-school time. New for the 2008-09 is a Computer Animation class for a limited number of returning 5th grade students.
Program operates Mondays – Thursdays from 2:00 pm - 5:30 pm; and the 2nd & 4th Friday’s of the month.
Eligibility:
- Children in grades 2-5
- Attend a minimum of 90% of the time
- Participate in all activities appropriate to their grade level including walking, physical activities, science projects, and cultural celebrations
- Parents must attend a mandatory orientation
- English language learners highly encouraged
